Allen Jones
Allen M. "Unkie" Jones passed away January 30, 2016, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Roseanna Jones; 5 brothers: Victor, Willie, Raymond, Edward, Dannie; and sister Ethel Martin.
He is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Mary Lu; daughter, Alene (Kelly) McCracken of Tempe, Arizona; and brothers Fred, Phillip, and Larry Jones. He is also survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces.
Allen was an alumnus of Waukesha South High School and enlisted in the Navy. He worked over 35 years at Waukesha Fabricating and 6 years at Generac. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Gold Wing, and spending time at the family cottage in central Wisconsin.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in April.
Ron Harder
(12/24/1943- 4/29/2015)Ronald Lee Harder was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1943, and passed away on April 29, 2015 at hospice care in Oconomowoc. He was 71 years of age. Ron had been diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer in late 2013 and had surgery as well as treatments from 2013-2015.
He was born to a family of several siblings and was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Joan (Harder) Greene. His mother, Helen (Kaul) Harder and father Spencer Harder.
Ron married Mary Bohen Harder, his high school sweetheart, and they had two children, Jodi Harder and Derek Harder.
He is survived by his Children, Jodi Harder, Derek Harder, (Jill -his most constant loving daughter in law,) Grandchildren, Michael, and Ashley Harder. Siblings, Larry Harder, (Dorothy), Judy Harder Hoefs (Darwin), Jean Harder Jackson, Sharron Harder O’Brien, (Tom) and Richard (Rick) Harder (Bonnie)
While in Waukesha High School, Ron was on the school wrestling team and his team earned the 1962 championship Mat Title for WHS. He never stopped wrestling and whenever he could, he wrestled his brothers, his children, and nephews. He was always looking for someone to beat as he did not like to lose. He also loved to play the drums in the small local bands and at WHS band. Everything he ever did, he played hard at it and enjoyed doing it.
Ron worked for 36 years at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) in Civil Engineering and retired at 57 years of age. He was project manager of various construction projects.
After his divorce from Mary, Ron married Karen Gross and her children John and Scott Gross. Over the years, they inherited several more step grandchildren from Karen’s family as well as Ron’s own grandchildren, Mike and Ashley. Ron and Karen spent their 30 years together living in Orlando, FL and Oconomowoc, WI but his favorite home was in northern Wisconsin----Spooner. He always looked forward to going back “Up North” every spring.
He was waterskiing as recently as July 4th, 2014 still a strong healthy man in Spooner. He loved fishing, boating, hunting and building with his hands. Everything from homes, furniture and cabinets and was very good at that as well.
He was loved by a very large family and will be missed tremendously. Ron had found his Lord and Savior in Jesus Christ and told his siblings that while he was not ready to leave us, there was no doubt, he knew where he was going and we all needed to accept that. We are trying.
Robb Dalton

Robert 'Robb' Charles Dalton
Resided in Detroit Area, MI
Robb Dalton (1944) was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Robert G. and Marion Dalton. As a soldier's wife, Marion followed her husband from camp to camp, and baby Robby often was placed to sleep in hotel dresser drawers. Once WW2 was ended, the family lived in Brookfield, WI and expanded to include sister Kathy and brothers Randy, Richard and James.
Robb experienced the idyllic rural life in his childhood and teens, with pony JoJo, and dog, Kippy. At age 15 he got his first job at the local drug store scooping ice cream and displaying his great work ethic and people skills.
He was a force to be reckoned with and will be sorely missed by his family and many longtime friends. Robb wore many hats as a tremendous humorist, a serial entrepreneur and sales dynamo.
Robb served our country as a highly decorated Marine Sargeant, earning two Purple Hearts and a special commendation from the South Vietnamese government for bravery. His courageous spirit continued in his civilian life in his many business and personal activities. Robb was a unbelievable networker with lifelong friends and business associates.
At age 38, he became a family man, marrying Jayne Swihart and becoming a stepfather to Charles Robert Seaman, "Chip", aged 3 years. During their marriage Christopher and Katie Dalton were born and Robb showed himself to be a loving and devoted father. In 1996 they moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where after only three months their two sons, "Chip" (17) and Chris (9) were killed in a tragic car accident. Thankfully, Katie, who was also in the vehicle, survived. Katie has been a great joy to both parents who divorced but remained friends.
To the delight of family and friends, Robb returned to Michigan to be close to his daughter in Brighton. Seven years ago, Robb suffered a severe stroke, becoming paralyzed on the right side and limiting his ability to speak. He has lived with his sister Kathy since, having a comfortable but limited life. His mind and memory never failed him, but communication was limited. We, as Robb's family, appreciate the many loyal friends who stood by Robb during his difficult time. On Saturday, May 9th, Robb peacefully passed at home.

Gary Dillaber

DE SOTO/GENESEE, Wis. — Gary G. Dillaber, 70, of De Soto, formerly of Genesee, Feb. 14, 2015. Pancreatic cancer would have to wait nearly three years before taking his life. Gary’s courage and desire to live provided many additional memories with family and friends.
Gary was born June 23, 1944, in Waukesha, Wis., to Glynn and Mary Dillaber. Growing up he developed a passion for the outdoors which he shared with family and friends as well as a love for animals. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 to 1964, and from there went on to earn a living as a truck driver until he retired on the very first day he was eligible. Fortunately that left him over 15 years to enjoy his retirement to the max. Wanting to be closer to his sons and leave the city life, he moved west to the Mississippi River valley near De Soto where he dedicated his life full time to having fun with family and friends in the outdoors. To avoid part of the Wisconsin winters he regularly spent time in the Florida Keys fishing and enjoying the great weather. Gary served many years as a Conservation Congress delegate in both Waukesha and Vernon counties.
Gary said “I’m not sad about dying, I’m sad about all of the things I’m going to miss.” He never wasted a day of his retirement. He will miss all of the fishing, hunting, races, animals, shooting sports, gun shows, cooking, traveling, hobby farming and visiting with family and friends to name a few. He did a lot with a little, as he used to say.
Although physically compromised, Gary never lost his will or his wit. Up until the very end, he was hunting deer in the Iowa River bottoms in December as well as chasing his beagles through the woods in January. He planned a February trip to Florida, but his body finally failed him.
Gary is survived by his mother, Mary Dillaber of Waukesha; sons, Eric (Lori) Dillaber, Jason (Gretchen) Dillaber; grandsons, Douglas and Nathan Dillaber, all of La Crosse; wife, Rosanne (Brozek) Dillaber; step daughters, Jessica Brozek, Jennie (Mike) Brudos; and grandsons, Andrew and Mason of Viroqua; brothers, Terry and Larry; sister, Pat; his nieces and nephews; and first wife and friend, Linda Dillaber.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Glynn.
We sincerely thank all family and friends who were so important to Gary during his life. Thank you to Gundersen and UW medical staff for Gary’s extension of life and to the Bland Bekkedal hospice staff for his end of life care.
As per Gary’s wishes, there will be no service. His remains will be spread by his sons on their family farm, the Mississippi River and local trout streams where so many fond memories were created.

Robert D. ‘Da Weas'’ Wiesenthal
Robert D. “Da’Weas” Wiesenthal entered into eternal life December 31, 2014, at age 70.
He was the proud father of Jonathon, Monica (Darrell) Rhodes, Thomas and Amie (Brian) Hansen and the beloved grandpa of Lauren Taylor Rhodes, Isabella, Jake and Allissa Hansen and Samantha Wiesenthal. Bob is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Agnes (nee Schober) Wiesenthal, and sister Nancy Manley.

Bob attended St. Joe’s Catholic School through eighth grade, where he was an altar boy. He was a graduate of Waukesha South High School, class of 1962. Upon graduation he worked at Teledyne Wisconsin Motors for 18 years, working in the tool room. Bob later worked at Harken as a master metallic finisher and retired in 2012.
His true love and passion for cars started at an early age and lead him to be one of the founding members of Waukesha Old Car Club.
Bob had many hobbies, which included rebuilding old cars, ice fishing, hunting, golf, gardening and canning, baking and cooking, wood working, knife making, drawing and sign making and many more.
His love and dedication to his family was always his number one priority. His love and memories will continue through his children, grandchildren and many friends. He was loved by all.

Lawrence L. Johnson
Lawrence L. Johnson, “Uncle Larry,” age 70 (looked like 60 and acted like 40), passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 1, 2014.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Cindy (nee Kontowicz); his son, Adam Lawrence Johnson; daughter Sara Kathleen Johnson; daughter-in-law Sherry Kay Frost; and beloved grandsons Elijah Nathan Frost and Zachary Adam Frost. Larry is further survived by his sisters Jacquie Johnson and Jeannie (Joe) Koch; his loving in-laws, Kerry and Joan Kontowicz, Keith and Debbie Kontowicz, Gregg and Mary Kontowicz, and Amy and Kevin VanderGalien; father-in-law John Kontowicz; as well as cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Andrea and parents Harry and Beulah Johnson.
A special thanks to Dr. Todd Doernier, Dr. Russell Harland and Dr. Kooroush Saeian as well as his nurses at ProHealth Care Pulmonary Rehab for their assistance in helping Larry fight through his illness for the past seven years. Also, thanks to all his girlfriends and Tony in the pulmonary rehab program. He loved you all. More thanks to the nurses and staff at AngelsGrace Hospice for making his final moments peaceful and comfortable.

Dennis McGee
Dennis McGee, age 69, of Grants Pass Oregon passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 of complications due to heart disease. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in July 1944 to the late John A. McGee and Mildred (Knackert) McGee. He is also preceded in death by his brother Lt.Col James McGee, USMC. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer and son Jerry, siblings Pat, Susan, Rick and Jeanne, and nephews Terry, Skyler and Mathew.
Dennis graduated from Waukesha High School in 1962, after which he enlisted in the Army and served in Germany. He graduated from CalState-Northridge with a degree in Art. As a member of IATSE (Int'l. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) Local 727, he worked in Craft Services for many years at various studios in the Los Angeles area, eventually becoming Craft Services Labor Department Head at CBS in Studio City. He was a most talented and prolific artist, producing a wide range of pieces from wood-carving to graphics to oil and water color. He loved to play the banjo and he collected William Boyd (Hopalong Cassidy) memorabilia.
Dennis will be interred at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, WI on June 11th at 9 am.

Susan Marie Borre (nee Tetzlaff)
May 25, 1944 – March 30, 2014
Susan Marie Borre (nee Tetzlaff) of Palmyra passed away peacefully on March 30, 2014, at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek. Sue was born on May 25, 1944, to Antonia and Walter Tetzlaff of Dousman. She was the first born of her seven beloved brothers and sisters.
Susan married Alan Borre in 1985 and they started their family business, Woodland Repair Center. Sue made many special friendships with her customers, suppliers, employees and their families over the years.
Sue was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Palmyra and was baptized by her “favorite” pastor, David Griffiths. She enjoyed music and fellowship with her church family. She loved nature, antiques, music, theater, spending time with her friends and family, and her special pets.
Sue is survived by her husband, Alan; her “girls,” Amy (Mike) Hasselkus, Allison Borre, and Erin (Jason) Pruitt; her grandchildren, Abbie, Annah, Alyse, Aidan, Maia, Isaac and Evangeline; and great-grandson, Owen.
She is further survived by her brothers Russ, Wally and Ken, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Linda and Peggy; and her brothers Richard and Brad.
Visitation will be held at Haase-Lockwood Funeral Home, 320 W. Main St., Palmyra, on April 3 from 4 pm to 8 pm with a service to follow.

Ronald ‘Ron’ M. Riley
Aug. 8, 1942 – March 6, 2014
Ronald “Ron” M. Riley of Mukwonago died on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at home surrounded by his family at the age of 71. Ron was born on August 8, 1942, in Milwaukee, the son of Merle and Jean “Mildred” (Rehn) Riley.
He worked as a machinist for Waukesha Engine for 42 years and retired in 2004. Ron enjoyed golfing, bowling, shooting pool, playing cards with friends and was an avid sports fan. More than anything, Ron loved spending time with his family.
Ron will be deeply missed by his wife of almost 50 years, Patricia “Pat” (Nielson Riley); his children, Renae and Todd Riley, both of Mukwonago; his grandchildren, Shawn, Autumn, Adam, Nicolaus, Dylan and Elijah; his great-grandson, James; his sister, Susan Riley of Waukesha; and cousins, other relatives and friends.
The visitation for Ron will be held on Friday, March 14, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. memorial service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha.

Arlin E. Chivers
(August 7, 1943 - January 29, 2014)U.S. Veteran Arlin E. Chivers of Washburn, WI and formerly of Luck, WI died on January 29, 2014 in Duluth, MN at the age of 70. Arlin was born on August 7, 1943 in Grantsburg, WI to Guy and Unita Chivers of Luck. They later moved to Waukesha, WI where he graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1962. He was drafted into the Army and served in the Vietnam War.
On September 6, 1972, he was married to Bonnie (Neely). Together they had 4 children. They lived in Frederic, WI until 1987 when they moved to Luck.
Arlin had many interests that lead him to a variety of job opportunities- he worked as a machinist, logged with his Dad and later ran a flower shop in Luck with his wife Bonnie until he retired. Bonnie and Arlin moved to the Washburn area in 2012.
In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish, spend time with his family at the shack, read, and build his beloved rat-rod cars which he enjoyed showing off at many local car shows.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Guy and Unita. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of 41 years, their children, Nicole (Eric) Trautt, Bill (Jen) Chivers, Joel (Mindy) Chivers, and Kayli (Chris) Williamson. He is also survived by 11 grandkids- Haley, Colin, Kellen, Hannah, Morgan, Connor, Jack, Henry, Rylee, Quinn and Greta. He is also survived by 2 daughters, Susan Harp and Deanne Turner.
There will be a celebration of life to remember Arlin on Tuesday, February 4th from 2-6pm at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI. A private burial will be held later in the spring. Judy Garvens (Mies) :
September 14, 1943- January 10, 2014
Judy Mies, of Waukesha, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, at the age of 70 years. She was born in Brookfield on September 14, 1943, the daughter of Ralph H. and Lorraine A. (Nee Zimbehl) Garvens. Judy was a 1962 graduate of Waukesha South High School. Prior to retirement she had been employed for twenty five years as Respite Child Care Coordinator at the Women’s Center of Waukesha where she touched many lives. Judy was united in marriage to Noris “Norie” Mies on October 25, 1995. She was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Judy enjoyed spending time up north at Castle Rock Lake, reading, listening to music, and attending Maxwell Street Days and other outdoor activities. She will be remembered as “Everybody’s Mom and Special Grandma” and will be forever remembered for her sense of humor and her “Can Do Attitude”. But most of all she will be remembered for the love and care she provided to her family.
Ken Doughty:
July 17, 1944- Nov 17, 2013
Kenneth C. “Ken” Doughty of Waukesha passed away after a three-year battle with leukemia Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 69. He was born July 17, 1944, in Milwaukee, the son of Carl and Ruby Doughty.
Ken married the love of his life, Lorraine (nee Kusch), on Oct. 31, 1964. He was a longtime truck driver working for General Cartage and later The Fleming Company. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 200. Ken enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf, wood working and watching NASCAR. He was an old car enthusiast and would travel in the summers to “The Fishing House” up north. Most of all, Ken loved being with his family.
Ken will be lovingly missed by his wife, Lorraine, of 49 years; his father, Carl Doughty; his daughters, Linda Gironimi- Johnson, Lynnette (James) Mollet and Laura (Brian) Ahtonen; and his grandchildren, Haley, Celia, Jensen, Jadyn, Callen and baby Ahtonen (due April 2014). He is further survived by his siblings, Dennis (Judy) Doughty, Melody (Gregory) Bannach and Sherilynne (Jon) Giuliani, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby, and his in-laws, James and Marion Kusch.
Al Brenner:

Allan “Al” Gustave Brenner of Waukesha died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at Community Memorial Hospital at the age of 70 years. He was born in Waukesha on March 8, 1943, the only son of Gustave and Clara (nee Kienow) Brenner. He retired from Waukesha Engine in December 2000 after 36 years. He was a member of Fall Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls.
He is survived by his loving mother, Clara Brenner, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gustave, and his infant sister, Mary Ann Brenner.
Sally Maule:
Feb. 19, 1944 – Oct. 31, 2013
Sally “Sal” L. Thompson, 69, of Harshaw, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 19, 1944, in Waukesha, the daughter of Fran (Hooseman) and John Maule.
Sally graduated from Waukesha South High school in 1962 and went on to attend the Milwaukee School of Beauty and Cosmetology. She held various jobs throughout her life including working as a beautician, doing clerical work, and working as a swing manager at McDonald’s in Sussex. She was involved in the Job’s Daughters organization throughout her early years. After moving to the Northwoods, Sally donated her free time delivering Meals on Wheels, something she greatly enjoyed.

John G. Theos, 69, of Fort Myers, FL, died on July 22, 2013 at Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, FL. He was born February 18, 1944 in Waukesha, WI, a son of George and Esther (Berndt) Theos.
He received a Degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Whitewater, WI in 1968 and his MBA from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL in 1971.
John taught at the University of Whitewater-Marketing Department from 1971- 1973; then was a Medical Sales Representative from 1974-1978. HE was the Director of Marketing, Vice President and Executive Director of Healthcare in Wisconsin from 1978 to 1995 and in Louisiana from 1995 to 2000. He moved to Fort Myers in 2000 an opened the first Quizno’s Sub Shop in Fort Myers until 2005 when he retired. He attended The Church of the Cross in Fort Myers.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jill J. (Joppa) Theos, his children, Jason (Hye Yon) Theos of Frisco, TX, Jody T. (Kenny) Raymond of Venetia, PA and Jennifer Theos, Leigh Acres, FL, his grandchildren, Zachary, Makena and Abigail, his sister, Anita Krysement, Spring Valley, IL and his brother, James (Kay) Theos of Cape Coral, FL, his nephew, Michael and niece, Nicole.
