Coach Luther
2019: After 53 years of coaching basketball, 1083 games, over 3500 practices with 800 plus players, I have decided to step away from coaching a team and will step up my "Get on Target" program (in-service for teaches and businesses) and my OneTeam Basketball programs to help many coaches and players. Coaching Highlights are 2 state appearances in Madison with the Blackshirts, 2 State Championships with UW-Waukesha and a National Champioship in 2012 with UW-Whitewater. My biggest highlights were marrying Kay on November 4, 1967 and will celebrate 52 years (2019) and having two great children in Robyn and Rod both, WHS Grads.Blessed with eight wonderful Grandchildren. "I have been so blessed my entire life and I am so thankful. So very thankful to be a Blackshirt! Very honored and humbled to have entered the Waukesha South "Wall of Fame" in 2014. I had the great opportunity to teach Physical Education for 32 years." ~coach~ |

Graduated WHS, Married, divorced, BA from Loyola Univ., worked in education and broadcasting. Two children, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Recently moved to Charlotte, NC. Will be caring for my newest grandson here while my son completes his degree and his wife pursues her career. Never thought warm winters would be problematic. Silly me, I like Wisconsin winters! Besides family and friends, interests include reading, walking, fine arts, and singing. Music led me to a group called the Charlotte Chorale which should prove to be a lot of fun. Looking forward to a visit "home" this summer for our 50th reunion. Can't quite get my head around that number! Ann, thanks for the great job on the web site. See you in August! PS, don't let the name change confuse you. I was Mary Morgan at WHS. Hated my name so later, changed it. |

In July, 2001 I retired from teaching in Wisconsin and my husband, Dick, retired as superintendent. Since then, we have been happily living in the beautiful San Juan mountains of SW Colorado. We ski in the winter, golf in summer, and travel extensively in spring and fall. In the picture with me is Mairin, the youngest of our 8 grandkids, who are from 5 years to almost 23. Aren't grandkids the best? We enjoy and love them, but don't have to be responsible full-time! Looking forward to seeing old friends. Thanks to Ann and Sandy for doing such a great job organizing this! |
